Hello,
Did not find much info after a quick browsing, so would like to ask for opinion in the forum:
 - did anyone implement data encryption for GridFS? what's a good way of supporting this?

I was proposing MongoDB to a customer yesterday, they asked a question if there is a way to encrypt the data in GridFS?
It does not seems that this is supported in GridFS directly, so I am wondering if anyone had done something similar and what's the good way of doing this?

In the client application before storing the data into GridFS?

thanks,
canal

Yes, encrypt the data when you store and retrieve it. Mongodb treats
it as binary data anyway.
