Execution Time vs Power Consumption

Research articles exist that describe that the Execution Time of queries by MongoDB is less than MySQL.
On the other side, there exist articles showing that energy consumption of MongoDB is higher than SQL.
It seems conflicting. An execution takes less time, but consume more energy.
Can anyone explain why?
