MongoDB connection using R studio (version 3.3.2)

Hi Team,

I am trying to connect to MongoDB using R. I am using the package -mongolite and trying to connect to MongoDB community edition. I am getting the following error:

Error: Unimplemented BSON type 17

P.S: I did get a chance to speak to Ken W. Alger. He advised me to post it here to get more insights. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

 Hi Tejashree,

What are your versions of Mongolite, MongoDB server, and O/S?

If you aren't using the latest version of Mongolite (currently 2.0.1) can you please update and test with this.
