We use Azure for our infrastructure and we are considering to use MongoDb Atlas .
Do you support VNET peering between the MongoDB Atlas vnet and our Azure subscription vnet?

We have many systems, and by using external public IPs to connect to MongoDB Atlas would be a security problem to maintain the IP whitelist , and also a possible performance issue  duew to conncetion speed.

Thank you.

Hi Viron

Currently you cannot use VNET peering between MongoDB Atlas and your Azure subscription yet. Only AWS is currently supported to VPC peer with MongoDB Atlas at the moment.

This is because Azure currently does not support cross-subscription (Active Directory tenant) peering, which prevents an account to peer with a third-party service such as MongoDB Atlas. I would suggest to reach out to Microsoft Azure to address this as part of their roadmap item.

Regards,
Wan.
