Mongovue not showing collections

Hello,

I am new to mongo db, through a video tutorial I installed mongovue hoping to have a GUI for the database management, for unknown reason, although I can see the collection in my database in command line, but the mongovue doesn't show any collection, can anyone shed me any light?

Hi Raymond,

As far as I know of MongoVUE has not been updated for full MongoDB 3.0+ compatibility yet. Until there's an update, MongoVUE does not support the newer (and default) SCRAM-SHA-1 authentication in MongoDB v3.0+ or have UI support for listing collections if your server is using the WiredTiger storage engine.

The latest release of MongoVUE is version 1.6.9 and was released in Jan-2014 (2+ years ago). The developer's website ww.mongovue.com also cannot be reached.
