Hi,

I would like to know the in-depth internal architecture of mongodb which involves read, write. Eg., when a client insert a document how it is travelling in mongodb till how it is getting stored in local machine or mongod along with directory structure.

Can someone could explain this or pointers explaining these will be great.

Thanks in advance,
Alex

Well, let's see - you can read the docs (http://docs.mongodb.org/)
which include discussion of storage layer, query engine, wire
protocol, etc. You could also take the free classes at
https://university.mongodb.com/
