Install MMS Server

Dear all

We install Mongodb on Windows Server 2008 Standard 64 bit. And We have never been install MMS. So We want to install MMS to monitor Mongodb on our system. I follow the instruction on link http://mms.10gen.com/help/deployment.html for Windows Server. But I don't know how to MMS Service could push our information into MMS. Could you explain more to me? How should we do to finish this process?

Hi Tom,

As an addendum to the instructions in the text file supplied with the agent, there is also the following page at the MMS documentation: http://mms.10gen.com/help/install.html?highlight=windows#windows-installation

After the MMS agent is installed and everything is running, the agent will attempt to periodically push data to MMS.  It will need to be able to make outgoing HTTPS connections on port 443 as discussed in the MMS documentation here : https://mms.10gen.com/help/install.html#install-the-mms-agent

Do you have the MMS agent up and running, or are you stuck at some point in the installation?
