Urgent : MongoDB is not starting

but it did not start at all
next i tried some think like this
mongod --dbpath=/var/lib/mongodb/
i got these messages

There is nothing to be repaired. The port is just allocated by some
other process.

You may also try to find by :
- netstat -anp | grep mongo [ show you mongo process running along with port ]
- netstat -anp | grep :27017 [ show you process on the port ]

Otherwise, you can stop it by kill it
