Hi,

I've just been able to install the mongo packages (on Centos) without any issues.

Can you paste (to gist/pastebin/pastie) the contents of your /etc/yum.repos.d/10gen.repo and the output of the following commands? 

uname -rmi
rpm -q centos-release
rpm -qa glibc
yum repolist all

To add to Akshay's recommendations, you can also verify the packages (once downloaded) directly through rpm - 

# rpm -K mongo-10gen-*

mongo-10gen-2.0.6-mongodb_1.x86_64.rpm: sha1 md5 OK

mongo-10gen-server-2.0.6-mongodb_1.x86_64.rpm: sha1 md5 OK

Sounds like a corrupted download which causes RPM to bail out on a checksum mismatch.

Try to download both the RPMs manually:

wget http://downloads-distro.mongodb.org/repo/redhat/os/x86_64/RPMS/mongo-10gen-server-2.0.6-mongodb_1.x86_64.rpm  http://downloads-distro.mongodb.org/repo/redhat/os/x86_64/RPMS/mongo-10gen-2.0.6-mongodb_1.x86_64.rpm

Then run check the md5sum. You should get the following:md5sum mongo-10gen-*

230fb88d94a474e4015aa5262e253bb6  mongo-10gen-2.0.6-mongodb_1.x86_64.rpm

accbfeb02fa75d19234660747ab3439b  mongo-10gen-server-2.0.6-mongodb_1.x86_64.rp

If the checksums match that you should be able to do something like otherwise it will bailout on the same MD5/cpio errors.

yum localinstall mongo-10gen-*.RPM

or

rpm -Uvh mongo-10gen-*.rpm

Try that and let us know what you get.
