i have 3 instances on the same node all running on different
ports.When i do a rs.status first two of my intances are fine but the
3rd one shows as not reachable or healthy,It shows up in the rs.conf()
though.I tired removing the member and adding it again but doesnt
help,i also triued reconfiguring.Do i need to reconfig the entire
setup ?

Did you ever have things working or has it always been like this?
Also, what version are you using?

If you post the rs.status() and rs.conf() (from all the nodes if they
are different) then it would help to possibly spot the problem.

You can reconfigure only if you have a majority up, otherwise you will
need to follow these directions:
