Hi

I am trying to deploy a MongoDB replica set using Ops Manager, in an environment lacking access to the internet. I have downloaded the 3.2 MongoDB tar and placed it at the required location though, for Ops Manager to work with:

I also installed Automation agents, which are detected by Ops Manager Gui, while trying to deploy a new replica set of three nodes. However, when I hit continue after verification of automation agents I get the following error:

"Unexpected Error: Error: Unable to create member 1 of testRepl. Unable to find enough servers. Requested port range was 27000 to 28000. Please ensure all agents are running."

This is strange as OPs Manager already shows automation agents running on three nodes. ANy ideas on how I can work around this issue? It does not allow me to go to next steps and deploy the replica set.

Thanks.

For assistance with installing Ops Manager please have a look at our Ops Manager documentation.

Please note that Ops Manager is licensed as part of a commercial support subscription. I would suggest raising a CS issue (if you are a current customer) or contacting your MongoDB Account Executive if you are evaluating. If you’d like me to put you in touch with an Account Executive please contact me off list.

Best regards,
Kevin
