MongoDb Deployment using MMS Agent

Hi,

I am surprised at the time of using MMS automation agent while MongoDB Deployment of Beta version. I got below issues

1> i Have tried to mongodb deployment by using mms automation agent  using existing mms account. And Public Key and Private Key was there and it helps me out but

    

    I have to add all 27000 to 27020 Ports in my AWS Security Group.... Now my Question is

    

Replica is picking up only one port e.g 27000 then why should i open remaining port public. 

2> After Successful installation on MMS login portal it asked me to install Munin Plugin... how to fix this..???

3> After that i have created New MMS Account and tried to do above Process But

     Where should i get the Public and Private Key ...?? 

  

    If i use the Old Public Key then How to create Private Key..???

Can anybody tell me where should i get the proper process flow of Deployment of MongoDB using MMS Automation Agent.

Hi Bala,

1) The 27000-27020 ports in question need to be open within the security group, not to the public. Port 22 should be open to the public.

2) Munin installation is required for CPU/disk-IO monitoring. It is not a required part of MMS. If you want to enable this, please follow the instructions here:

And be aware that since the Monitoring Agent needs to connect to munin, you will also have to open port 4949 within the security group.

3) Regarding the public keys, our docs about them are here:

Generating the key pair is outside of my scope, as it's generally OS-specific, but GitHub has some good instructions: https://help.github.com/articles/generating-ssh-keys/
