How to connect Atlas with NodeJS app hosted on Heroku platform ?

Hello all, i have NodeJS app hosted on Heroku platform and i am running free Atlas cluster.I am experiencing an error when app connects with Atlas .

ERROR: 503 service unavailable

In my opinion it seems there is some problem in making connection between two.Please let me know how can i make connection between two.

Hi,

Is the 503 error generated by your Heroku application or by Atlas?
If it’s by your Heroku application, you may want to post a question in one of Heroku Support Channels.

Could you connect to your MongoDB Atlas from mongo shell ?

Have you setup IP Whitelist for your Atlas cluster ? i.e. MongoDB Atlas Security Whitelist.
