Compatibility C# Driver 2.2 and MongoDB Version 3.4

The combination of C#-Driver 2.2 and MongoDB Version 3.4 is not recommended. Currantly we have to use this combination within our Project an in general is works.

Are there any known issues with this combination? We have observed some problems with connection Pooling. Could these be caused by version incompatibility?

As you have pointed out, the recommended compatibility version for MongoDB v3.4 is C# driver version 2.3+

Is there a specific issue/reason that prevents you to use the current stable MongoDB C# Driver version (v2.4) ?

We have observed some problems with connection Pooling

Could you elaborate further what kind of connection pooling problems you’re having?

Please also include:

• A snippet code showing how you’re connecting to MongoDB.
• MongoDB deployment topology
• Use case scenario of your environment.
