I noticed on GIT Hub that the commits to this project have slowed
down.
Is Steve Wagner still working on this project?

Consider it in a maintenance mode. If you are starting something new you should go with the official driver.

Sam is right. Since we have now an official driver with an fulltime
developer behind it, it dose not make sens to continue to add new
features to this driver.

But since i use this driver very heavily i will continue to provide
support, do fixes and small features.

Wow...I can see why you stopped on your driver. I hadn't checked out
MongoDB official driver
since they had announced it and damn they really covered a lot of
ground fast.

I guess I better switch then since it is the official version and will
probably stay in step with MongoDB features better.

Don't know if you guys have looked at it, but anything missing from
MongoDB driver that yours has?

Steve you did a great job and have recommended your driver to all my
friends.
So thanks for all your work and great design on your driver.

I am glad you liked it. Craig and i did the most work of the latest
changes, but that still wasn't possible without the base which sam
provided to us. So i would say its more Sams driver :-)

As far as i know the only missing part is Linq.

Please update that old but the only one driver i can use :)
official driver is too complicated for my brain and .net 2.0 ...

Hi Sinisa, we are honored that you like the driver so much, but you
should really give the official driver a chance. It is really not much
different then our and its well designed.

i would like to but as im no coder and i use Jscript.net with asp 2.0
i dont have generics in it, and i get used to Document,Document ;)

I know i should go with c# but in a jscript.net I feel like I can do
something (I do alot javascript client side, so)

You wont update old driver ? is that project gone ?

No, we will provides bugfixes for this driver, but we will not add new
features.

Maybe you should try ironjs or try node.js where exists a native MongoDB
driver for Javascript.
