Is Casbah 3 reactive?

Hi everyone

I'm using ReactiveMongo in a project because it is reactive. I've read several post saying that Casbah is not, but I found that this posts are very old.

So the question, is Casbah 3 reactive? Or it keeps on being blocking?

Hi,

Casbah is based on the sync Java driver and is blocking.  However, there is the new  Mongo Scala Driver, which is asynchronous.  See http://mongodb.github.io/mongo-scala-driver/ for more details.
