Current state of Mongeez Development and Community

Hi, Mongeez People!

Wanted to check on the current state of Mongeez. I've noticed that the GitHub repos hasn't been updated in awhile and the user list seems quiet.

Has the need for Mongeez been removed by features in MongoDB? Or is there another tool people are using? I've certainly seen movement from other document stores like Couchbase to have this sort of functionality in an external tool.
