Hello Vincent,

Greetings from Worldwide Book Drive!  Our organization promotes global literacy by donating gently used books to charitable organizations that focus on education and literacy.

Is Moneythink Cornell at Cornell University interested in running a book drive on your campus in an effort to help us fulfill this mission?  By collecting books on campus, you help us increase our selection for a number of charities that we work with while at the same time helping you raise funds for your club through a worthwhile service project.  Worldwide Book Drive will pay you $1 per Qualifying Book you collect.

The Book Drive is simple.  We send you marketing material and collection boxes that you strategically place around campus.  Once these boxes are filled with books, your club packs them up into smaller boxes and you notify us when a shipment is ready.  We arrange and pay for all the shipping.  There are no out-of-pocket expenses for your club and the time required to run the drive is minimal.

Below are two competitive advantages that Worldwide Book Drive has over other similar organizations:

1.       We take EVERY kind of book in reasonable condition!  No scanning required.  You won't be stuck with leftover books.  Worldwide Book Drive believes that every book has the potential to increase the quality of life among individuals.  That is why we go the extra mile in accepting all books.  We want to provide the opportunity for every unwanted book to make a difference in someone’s life by placing it in their hands.

2.       We work with Life Skills Centers which employ disabled adults.  Any book that cannot be used for our program is sent to this center for processing by these adults in order to be recycled.

Below is a recap of our Book Drive benefits:

ü  Promotes global literacy

ü  Improves the environment

ü  Raises money for your club

ü  Fulfills service project requirements

ü  Creates jobs for disabled adults

If you would like to get started now, please fill out the Book Drive Agreement and we will send you the supplies!  If you are interested in learning more about this program please visit www.worldwidebooks.org or contact me by phone or email.  To date, we have successfully donated more than 2.2 million books and we would love your help in increasing this number!

Thanks,

Nicole Sofe
