Hi everybody,
I wanted to share with you the alpha tool we have launched as a
proof-of-concept of a global beneficial ownership register: Who Controls It.
It’s in early stages but it’s open source so we are looking for collaborators
to help us make it better, be it through code or through refining the framing
of questions. Who Controls It can be used to demonstrate how beneficial ownership registers can be implemented technically or can be beneficial for different user
groups. This is the result of less than a week's work, but already it has had an impact when we met with BIS (UK dept) last week. We think that there is huge potential for this.
It would be great if you can share this with your networks so we can an active group of collaborators working on this.
