Description
The Bevy is a new burlesque revue series. It features 3 cycles of
producers putting on a monthly show on a rotating schedule. Launching
our series is the multi-talented Lili VonSchtupp presenting The
BlockBusty Awards Show!
She will be at the helm of this weekend's show with Patrick the Bank
Robber co-hosting at her side. Featured performers scheduled to
attend are: Red Snapper & Mr. Snapper, Red Sonja, Jersey Sure, Jewel
of Denial, Anastasia Von Teaserhausen, Iona Vibrator, Charlotte La
Belle Araigne'e, Wacko and Funny Eddie (dot com), with Glama Sutra and
Scarlett Letter.
Like every awards show, there will be surprise guests from the red
carpet and a tingle in the air with stars abounding. If you've never
been to a burlesque revue before, you can expect comedy, titillation,
sometimes some magic, satire, and a variety of entertainment
throughout the night. It's almost like vaudeville or a variety show,
but it's 2010, so it's new-and-improved!
Guests can expect an approximately two-hour show presented at The
Mezz, a beautiful 1920's speakeasy on the 2nd floor of the historic
Alexandria Hotel. After the show, DJ Eric Adams will be on the decks
presenting the best dance tracks both vintage and new-fangled.
Some useful information: The venue will open at 8:30 on Friday and
Saturday, with the show beginning at 9:30. Dancing will commence
after the show and shall continue until we close! Cocktails will be
available throughout the performance until 2am. Downtown Los Angeles
is booming with lots of pre-show dining and lounging options
available. Check some of our neighbors out before the show!
NOTE: No one under 21 years old will be admitted.

please. Valet parking available $7 , use Spring St. entrance for
valet. The Mezz is on the 2nd floor of the Alexandria Hotel. The
Alexandria Hotel is on the corner of 5th and Spring Sts. in Downtown
Los Angeles--both streets are one-way, please be aware. Elevators are
available.
