4th Annual "Buy-a-Run Day" is This Sunday!

Dear All,

The standings are up, and this week, they take on new meaning.  The Sugartits are currently in 1st, but they must ask themselves if they will be in a week.  For this Sunday, anyone can buy runs for any team during any game!  $10 a Run, and the results are binding towards the standings.  

All the proceeds go to the local Food Bank, a secular function of the Greenpoint Reformed Church and the City of New York.  No one else is helping the starving.

So, this Sunday, from 4 to 11, you can bet the Sugartits and the Ponyboys will be playing the Hot Dogs, and you'll see many similar games to those.  There will be a table by each field where anyone can buy tickets.  Then, in between plays, a ticket holder can redeem her/her run with the home plate umpire.

So, please ask your Mama and your Boss to help support the cause of feeding the poor.  Let's raise a lot of money, and help ensure no one goes hungry this winter!
