Try as I might, I just can't take someone who's a member of something
called the Ancient Order of Druids of America as a source of wisdom.
Maybe I should get a better attitude, but Druidism? It's just a
Victorian sham, no more 'ancient' than scientology, albeit with better
costumes.
What he's saying may well contain some sense, but why dress it all up
in fey roll-playing fantasies?
Then again, what do I know. If it helps create a sense of hope, maybe
its as good as anything. We're all deluding ourselves one way or
another, and 'Ancient Druidism' might be a better delusion than most.

I know what you mean; I tend to read all articles with a degree of
scepticism. But I do think he's writing stuff that needs to be
written, even though he's no prophet. Always question establishment.
