TOMORROW, November 5, the early birdwatcher can catch the bird! You can join a winter bird banding station on the WVU Core Arboretum section of Mon River Rail-Trail (mile 7). From 7:30AM-10:30AM find Chris Rota between the bike rack and the power line. Join in when you want, for as long as you like. You can also join in a short loop hike in the Arboretum as he checks the nets for birds.

ALSO- on other rail-trails on P2P-

Recently that the West Fork River Trail is closed at the landslide near Monongah Trailhead (closed about 1/2 mile from trailhead towards Fairmont) due to falling rocks.  Gates on either side of the slide area.

Sheepskin Trail-  This THURSDAY is donation MATCH DAY at Fayette County Community Foundation.  If you want to see more work on the Sheepskin Trail- DONATE ON THURSDAY to the National Road Heritage Corridor who is raising funds for the Sheepskin Trail in PA- https://www.fayettegives.org/organizations/national-road-heritage-corridor
