Hi everyone,
Gary Marlin is leading a trail work day this Saturday,
April 11 at 1:30PM. Work to clear ditches and culverts
of leaves and debris on the Mon River Rail-Trail from city
limits toward Uffington. Please bring your own gloves and wear
sturdy shoes. Other useful tools to bring rake, shovel, or
cultivator (rake). Some tools will be provided.
Meet at the MUB facility near city limits and park in
gravel lot on river side of the trail off of Don Knotts Blvd.
You will go through MUB gates off of Don Knotts Blvd at 171
Don Knotts Blvd. Let me know if you need more directions.
RSVP is helpful for planning if you want to email me back.
Feel free just to show up.
PLEASE- I am also working to build up a volunteer database
so please share this with other individuals or groups that
might be interested in light trail maintenance. Please let me
know if you would like to be taken off this list. You might be
on it because you are connected to a group- like cross-country
teams, boy scouts, or others.
Thanks, Ella
