To all that use the Sheepskin Trail and Especially those who
live in Pennsylvania,
We need your voice to tell the Fayette
County Commissioners that funding the Sheepskin Trail is a
good decision. The Fayette County Commissioners will be
voting in December on approving construction funding for a one
mile section of the Sheepskin Trail along Nilan Road on
outskirts of Point Marion.
PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH OTHERS and either
attend upcoming commissioner meeting (we will let you know the
date when we know) or take this survey. Please take a moment to
complete this short survey to share your thoughts and support:
Opportunity to personalize but feel free
to consider these points
1) trail activities help with both mental
and physical health.
2) This is a section needed that we hope
will one day connect to the Cheat Lake Trail and connect
communities all along the Parkersburg to Pittsburgh (P2P)
corridor which includes the GAP.
3) It will bring more trail users and more
money spent in the town of Point Marion as it will add to over
50 miles of connected Sheepskin and Mon River Rail-Trails.
4) provide fun and free activities to all
by providing outdoor recreation to walk, bike, bird, fish, or
run.
5) provides a community space for the
community to host races, walks, or social rides for charitable
causes.
Please excuse any duplication of messages.
Thanks! Ella
