For all of the cyclists who knew Bill Foster of Clarksburg, sadly he passed away last week, January 17, 2022. I had informed the CRC club, but thought I should also inform MonBikeClub.

Bill had worked for many years promoting cycling in West Virginia and had been instrumental in establishing the annual Spring Spectacular.

He will be missed.

We plan on having a Bill Foster Memorial Ride in the spring.

Thanks for sharing this, Kelly.

My interaction with Bill was almost exclusively through his support during many Appalachian Spring Spectacular events, and he was always a welcome sight managing the excellently stocked provisions at the mid-loop station station. Thank you Bill and hope you are enjoying some rides in the sky.
