Van Voorhis Trailhead- just posted if you would like to
share
Mon River Trail work is completed on mile 3-6, and as a cherry on
top, the Van Voorhis Trailhead was expanded with 9 new parking
spots, a native flower planting, and improvements to road and
existing parking. This is a popular spot for access to river
paddling, mountain biking trails, and rail-trail fun. Thank you to
Central Supply Company of West Virginia for donation of curb stops,
our contractor- Mountain Valley Resources, and donors to the Mon
River Trails Conservancy! You can support more trail projects by
donating to our MRTCentury cyclists-

Also- Morgantown Public Works has been working on solutions to
drainage off of Elk Street to keep mud and stone from washing onto
mile 1 of Deckers Creek Trail across the Stanley’s Spot dog park.
Happy Friday! Ella
