JUST POSTED and PLEASE SHARE

The Mon River Trail section mile 3 (north of Van Voorhis) to mile 6 (Star City) is OPEN now through Labor Day weekend. BUT will be CLOSED starting Tuesday, September 3- September 13 for RESURFACING WORK.  Disruptions delay this work from finishing.  Please avoid this section and do not go into areas marked with Trail CLOSED signs. 

It is NOT possible to allow trail users to cut through the work zone AND put down a new trail surface.
