Good and bad news regarding Resurfacing Work (mile 3-6)- Open this weekend but work continues next week-
The mile 3 through mile 6 section of the Mon River Rail-Trail will be OPEN Today and through the Weekend (Sept. 13- 15) but will be CLOSED next week as resurfacing work continues. Please do not go into areas with closed signs.  Thank you for your patience.

The MRTCentury challenge is underway! This year we have more solo cyclists and teams planning to bike 105 miles in 1 day to raise funds for the Mon River Rail-Trails! Autumn is early this year so watch for walnuts, hickory nuts, and acorns that might be hidden under leaves on trail.  

WV TRAIL Conference 2024- for people interested in being involved and learning more about the non-motorized trail efforts in WV.  Oct 27- Oct 29 at Stonewall Jackson State Park.  Register by October 19.  https://www.wvtrail.org/registration

JUST POSTED and PLEASE SHARE

Good and bad news regarding Resurfacing Work (mile 3-6)- Open TODAY but CLOSED Friday and work continues next week-
All of Mon River Rail-Trails will be Open Today but Tomorrow (Sept. 20)- mile 3 (north of Van Voorhis) to mile 6 (Star City) will be Closed for resurfacing. Please stay out of areas with Trail Closed Signs. Thank you for your patience.

Check the MRTC website for updates, our contractor is having issues with equipment.
