Hi everyone,
Please be aware and share

1) MUB work has rail-trail closed Tuesday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 10 in trail mile 9 behind WVU Reynolds Hall.  Closure is expected to shut down trail for over a month starting June 16 for the work week of Monday-Thursday and then open for the weekend including Friday. If they have a bad weather day during the week, work may close trail on the following Friday to stay on schedule.

Rail-Trail Closure Notice – next Tuesday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 10 🚧
The rail-trail near Reynolds Hall will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This temporary closure is necessary to allow a Morgantown Utility Board contractor to safely perform repairs on a sewer main regulator.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as this important work is completed.

2) Storm damage had brought slip and tree down on Collins Ferry Connector. The tree and debris have been cleared and connector is in great shape due to good work of Mountain Valley Resources.

3) Resurfacing Work on the Mon River Rail-Trail- Opekiska to Pricketts Fort (mile 24-29) is to start sometime next week and continue through June. Stay tuned for trail closures. This work is being done by Mountain Valley Resources.

4) We continue to have plumbing issues with the Masontown Restroom Facilities. Restrooms are currently closed at Masontown.

5) This Saturday! 10AM-2PM Morgantown Forward is hosting a Trail work day at Stanley’s Spot dog park under Pleasant Street Bridge in mile 1 of the Deckers Creek Rail-Trail. All are welcome to help with painting bridge pillars, mulching new trail at dog park, and general clean-up. All supplies and water provided. https://www.facebook.com/morgantownforward

I will be away camping this weekend and spotty cell service but please do try to text if you see down trees or any other issues. Have a great weekend, Ella

P.S. First free summer concert at HRM outdoor amphitheater is Tonight.
