Good morning trail friends,
Please be aware and share-

Just posted at https://www.facebook.com/monrivertrails
Spring storms have caused a wash-out in mile 2 of the Mon River Rail-Trail between Hoard Road and Van Voorhis Road. Trail is open but expect to get muddy. We are figuring out a fix!
You can donate to storm damage fixes- https://montrails.org/donate-3/

This is close to mile marker 3 and where the railroad telegraph booth is standing. Photos below give you an idea of the length of damage.

Reminder- we are still on for a trail work day on Tuesday-
Next Tuesday, March 31 at 9AM Collins Ferry Connector volunteer work day- meet at upper parking lot. Gary Marlin will lead the effort. Work to clear ditches and culverts of leaves and debris down to Mon River Rail-Trail. Please bring your own gloves and wear sturdy shoes. Other useful tools to bring rake, shovel, or cultivator (rake). Some tools will be provided.

Cheers, Ella
