Hey everyone
Please be aware and share
this post of trail closure- the trail will be much better
in this section once we are on the other side of it so
please be patient and stay away from closed area. The work
may likely go into next week and will depend on the weather
and disruptions on the job. Thanks! Ella
A three mile section of the
Mon River Rail-Trail, mile marker 3 (north of Van Voorhis)
to mile 6 (Star City) will be CLOSED starting TOMORROW,
August 6 and the rest of this week for needed drainage and
resurfacing work. Check social media and website for
updates. Please stay safe and keep our contractor safe and
stay out of CLOSED areas. This project is funded by a grant
from the Hazel Ruby McQuain Charitable Trust
