Happy Friday everyone
1) Tomorrow is a busy trail day on the Mon River Trail- posted if you want to share-
TOMORROW, a Saturday full of Halloween fun with the Halloween Half-Marathon and Kids 1 mile run in the morning (from Seneca Center to north of Van Voorhis Trailhead and back). Learn more- https://raceroster.com/events/2024/85815/mr-half-marathon hosted by Morgantown Running
and the Halloween Spooktacular trick or treat (4-6pm) and movie at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park (trail mile 9.7) in Morgantown.
If you want to run- you still can, if you want to cheer on runners- you are welcome, or you may want to avoid trail congestion during the race on miles- Mon River Trail miles 2 thru 9.
2) PLEASE COMMENT- For especially those of you who live in Fairmont or can share with those who do- but all are welcome to comment
Former Helmick Property Brownfield Cleanup and Recreational Plan- on the map you can see the close proximity to the West Fork River Trail (part of the P2P) and connections to the rail-trail for more recreational amenities that would compliment the neighborhoods and trail users.
