1) Greer crossing on the Deckers
Creek Rail-Trail is getting paved with asphalt TODAY and
resurfacing work on the Masontown Trailhead. Section on
rail-trail CLOSED from Little Greer (mile 9.5) to Masontown
(mile 13.5). NO ENTRY for your safety and safety of our
equipment operators! We are paving a short section to prevent
rutting and erosion at this crossing only. Find other areas to
adventure, no detour around.
Good news is they are moving faster than
planned! Need trail users to stay clear to get done safely and
quickly. Next section CLOSED for resurfacing next week-
McKinney Cave Road to Reedsville
NOW- MVR grading off the trail from
McKinney Cave to Reedsville on Deckers Creek Rail-Trail ahead
of resurfacing crew. Make sure equipment operators see you!
2) Saturday, April 25- RAIN OR SHINE

Handmade Market in the Wharf
District (mile 10) from 12-5pm, shop, eat, craft, and enjoy
listening to bands. Morgantown Adventure Outfitters to have
free rentals of bikes and kayaks from 12-6pm

3) Stanley’s Spot Service Day part
1, Saturday, April 25 Meet at 9:30AM at dog park near
Greenmont Bridge on Deckers Creek Rail-Trail. Morgantown
Forward in partnership with MRTC is having a work day to prep
bridge pillars, prime and paint, build a mulch trail at dog
park, clear brush, and trash bash. All supplies provided plus
water and snacks. Funding provided by the Trail Volunteer Fund
of the Pittsburgh Foundation

closed near Shinnston as contractors work on a slip. This
work is to continue for months, approximately 13 miles are
open for use.
