Maybe we should make this dependent on download statistics, e.g. have 3 tiers:
Tier 1: Updated once per week
Tier 2: Updated every two weeks
Tier 3: Updated every month

I wanted to remove seldom needed files from the preprocessing list and update
the frequently loaded files more often. Unfortunately, the files are mirrored to
a server where we do not have access, rendering webalizer statistics pretty
useless :( .

That's a bummer. Any chances of that changing in the future?
We could also add buttons to request updates, but that seems a bit clunky.
When Edith finishes the auto-downloader we could add functionality
that sends us data to a custom server about which map a user
downloaded ( we should ask the user about opting in on this the first
time a map is downloaded ).
However, I would prefer a server-only solution. We can certainly start
by assigning tiers manually.
