Alternative video player?

Is there an alternative video player available that doesn't rely on Adobe Flash, since Flash has been forcefully removed from most systems? I can still capture feeds with VLC, but it's got too much latency :/. I also posted this question on the OBS forum. Thank you, ThomasJ!

Hey Mark!

Did you try FFmpeg? By default it supports RTMP and can be fully configured to lower the latency. With MonaServer2 you can also play the stream with HTTP.

There is also our ffmpeg fork to add support to RTMFP with the help of librtmfp.

With all these 3 protocols I am sure you can get a better latency.
