Monaserver on my laptop failes to receive RTMP (any connection info, according to the log no connection attempts etc.) I'm connected to the internet  using AT&T nighthawk 5G hotspot, I've forwarded TCP and UDP ports 1935 to the assigned given address (similarly to how I was able to do it on my home computer, which worked fine.)

Anyway, no matter what I do, when I try to send an RTMP feed to my laptop (the one that is connected to the internet using AT&T 5G hotspot) I get automatically told the connection is blocked and try to check my firewall etc. So, I did. Unfortunately I can't quite figure out what is causing this problem.

But I'd really like to be able to leave my laptop running in the car with the 5G hotspot connected, and have my gopro rtmp feed the laptop.

I'm not sure if I need a static IP address for the AT&T hotspot. Or if perhaps this is just a configuration issue and I'm configuring things wrong on my end.

Please help haha, thanks!

Hi Robbie!

Nice to meet you :)

It should work if your port-forwarding is correctly configured. The static IP address is not needed but it's useful for the users.
So you should definitely check your firewall and router configuration. What is your environment? linux? which distribution?
If netcat is not working either there is something wrong with the environment.

Regards

Thomas
