Looking for used Mac laptop

As we approach the holiday season, I am looking for a used Mac laptop to give my freshman as a combination Christmas Gift and School Supply Necessity.  

Perhaps another family has an extra, seldom used Mac laptop they would be interested in selling for some extra Christmas spending money?

Or perhaps a family intends to upgrade to a newer laptop at Christmas and would be interested in selling their current laptop a little early?
