I hope you are all doing well! I can't believe our 'babies' will be starting kindergarten next fall!!
I thought of this group when a community service project was formulated this week and I wanted to reach out.
Several of my colleagues and I have taken an interest in a program on the JHU Bayview Campus where we work called the Center for Addiction and Pregnancy, it's a wonderful program constantly in need of donations. We are reaching out to family, friends and the community in the hopes of collecting items to donate in time for Christmas. We've promised a delivery to the program on December 19th.
Here's a link if you are interested in reading more about them and what they do:
They are most in need of the following new or gently used items:
Diapers: newborn & size 1
Wipes
Onesies undershirts up to 6 months
Sleep & play outfits up to 6 months
Baby bottles
Winter outerwear up to 6 months
Baby blankets
Baby socks
Baby hats
Enfamil or Similac formula (sealed)
Board or cloth books
Maternity pants
Outgrown baby clothes (or maternity clothes) Used (but not expired) car seats Used strollers Used infant carriers Used swings
If you have any items that you no longer need (or if you have any friends who are done having babies and are looking to give their unneeded items to a good cause) I'd be happy to arrange a pick-up.
Thank you!
