Hi,
A quick announcement about a last-minute opportunity for anyone
working in Smart Mobility, or looking to grow their European network:
We've been working with the Laval-Mayenne Technopole on a European
Project, the Open Innovation Project, for about a year, and they have
invited us to send a few companies to participate in the conference
and a related pitching competition in Laval, France, on 8-9 December.
Companies including Veolia, PSA, Valeo, Orange, Alcatel, Microsoft,
and HTC are all sending delegates.
Further details available here: Inov'dia Smart Mobility Conference. If
it looks relevant, the City of Edinburgh Council will pay up to £500
in travel and accommodation costs to make sure Edinburgh startups/
entrepreneurs can attend (the conference registration fee would also
be waived).
To apply, please send 300 words to
Sara....@edinburgh.gov.uk, by
this Friday, 11th November 2011. In your statement, you should
address:
why you wish to attend
why your company/product is relevant to the theme of smart mobility,
and confirm that you are prepared to present a 3 minute pitch and an
A2 poster at the event.
Best wishes,
Hilary
