Cospective logo

Cospective creates innovative software solutions that solve visual communication challenges. Originally born as Rising Sun Research, having been spun out in 1999 from local VFX company Rising Sun Pictures, the company now operates under the Cospective banner, reflecting the broadening nature of the business.

Cospective has an impressive track record in creating specialist tools for dynamic media industries. The company developed the Academy Award™ winning cineSync remote review and approval tool, and the cineSpace colour management system (acquired in 2011 by THX). Cospective has customers worldwide in film, advertising, television, games and design.

About Frankie:
Frankie is a new collaborative media review tool developed by Cospective (formerly Rising Sun Research). Running in a browser, Frankie enables you to review and discuss video media between multiple locations, with play controls, drawing tools and notes perfectly synchronised between all participants. It requires no software installation and no plugins, and it takes care of the media hosting and transport. It's really easy to learn and fun to use.

Unlike many current web based video tools that rely on Flash and other plugins, Frankie is built around the latest HTML5 standard. This makes it well suited to cross platform environments, including iOS and Android.

Frankie is aimed at the short-form video production market, of which television commercials (TVC) make up the largest component. Although not yet officially released, it's already in use by over a dozen paying customers – advertising agencies, production companies and post-production houses – across several countries. The public launch of Frankie will take place within the next few weeks.
