Are Scams the Cost of Doing Business?

I receive a lot of emails from readers with one thing in common: they
are concerned with Internet scams.

Internet scams are prevalent. So much so, that I dedicated two
chapters to this topic in The Mom’s Guide to Earning and Saving
Thousands on the Internet, and take care to point out pitfalls in each
chapter related to money earning and money saving topics. Be certain
to read the chapters thoroughly to help you navigate the Internet
businesses safely.

If you do not own a copy of The Mom’s Guide, check one out from your
local library (yeh, I probably should recommend that you buy a copy,
but if any of you know me, I’m all about frugal and free!)

Also, if you have questions, be sure to visit the “ASK BARB” blog
where you’ll find my answers to other’s concerns: http://askbarbwebb.blogspot.com/
Feel free to send in your questions, too.

You’ll find that my top two tips are 1) You should never have to pay a
business to work for them, and 2) If the deal doesn’t “feel” right,
trust your gut instinct.

Internet scams do not have to be the cost of doing business, if you
are well versed in how to spot and avoid them.
