Q. How to change the font color or shading of conserved residues in an alignment?
Then you will see the residues selected (highlighted in blue) in th ealignment
- Right click on one region of the selection and choose shade color or font color

1. click on the hammer button in the top right hand corner to open the edit panel.
2. Click on by Consensus and enter 'X' for fully conserved - then
press select
Then you will see the residues selected (highlighted in blue) in th ealignment
- Right click on one region of the selection and choose shade color or font color
