Q: What does the "Receptor Pocket" visualization in ICM represent? Is it solvent accessible surface area or molecular surface area, and can it be changed?
A: The "Receptor Pocket" visualization corresponds to the molecular surface (also called the skin surface). This is the same as running the command: make grob skin
This is also the surface generated in the GUI when you right-click on a ligand and select:
Pocket → Receptor Pocket
To visualize the solvent accessible surface area, use the command: make grob surface
