Problem: Error running flexlm utilities on Linux Ubuntu
~$ ./lmhostid
bash: ./lmhostid: No such file or directory
~$ bash ./lmhostid
./lmhostid: ./lmhostid: cannot execute binary file
Solution:
sudo apt-get install lsb-core
On newer Ubuntu you may need to install the package below
sudo apt install alien
bash: ./lmhostid: No such file or directory
~$ bash ./lmhostid

Solution:
sudo apt-get install lsb-core

sudo apt install alien
