Q: What’s the difference between running a script with icm vs. icmng?
A: icmng is a smaller binary with fewer dependencies that does not include GUI or 3D graphics functionality (display, color, etc.). If your script does not use graphics commands, color, or create meshes, there is no difference between running it with icm or icmng:
Q: When should I use the full icm binary instead of icmng?
A: If the script uses any graphics elements—even if it doesn’t explicitly display them—you should use the full icm binary. For example, the dsRebel macro can’t be used with icmng because it creates and colors meshes.
