Its not fun to debate for or against a verse that has an instant win aura that only people in their own verse can resist. Contrary to what some might think, the battle forums are ultimately there to have fun with hypothetical "who would win" scenarios.

The main reason it's not covered under hax like similar abilities from other settings is because every character in that setting can do it, and it's cancelled out when fighting someone on your level. So it doesn't play a role in the actual combat of the setting outside of putting fighters down you could have effortlessly killed anyway. So if you're arguing Ichigo can beat Goku because Goku can't resist his spiritual pressure but admit that Ichigo would get flattened without it, you're kind of using the ability in a way it's not designed to be used. Abusing the fact they are from different settings rather than making a case based on their combat abilities.

In theory yes, but they made the rule of equalization so that you can match them up agaisnt other verses and characters without giving them an auto win because that defeats the purpose of putting them in Battles in the first place.

@callmeblast: That's funny majority of websites deem reiatsu crush unfair and ruin debates.A great example would be bleach vs one piece..One piece doesn't even have an energy form so you can't even equalized it giving bleach an automatic win.The only ones who can survive it are immortal beings that can live without a soul or lack a soul lol.

I can actually.Bleachverse and Marvel or DC are 2 different universes.Reiatsu crush is is destroying someones soul which normally causes instant death.if you ever read bleach you would know its a battle between reiatsu besides special cases.We know everyone in the verse has reiatsu.Your entire argument relies completely on stat gaps.Can you explain to me how aizen didn't kill tatsuki with his spiritual pressure even with the massive gaps in stats? the answer is simple she has reiatsu to the point she can see spirits which is the bare minimum needed.No one you listed has reiatsu therefore they die instantly unless they can live without a soul,live in a astral plane,or a completely different dimensional being.Now can you post a scan of those listed that has reiatsu to resist it or those that use a similar source of energy?

Of course bleach characters stomp everyone if aura soul crush is allowed...Rules are simple you have to be spiritualy aware in order to resist it and since majority of characters are not that is auto win for bleach...superman,hulk,thor,goku fans your tears are delicious but only way to fight bleach characters is to nerf them...

Haki is the equalization for it since reiatsu and general energy powersets like in Dragon Ball, HXH, Naruto follow a similar rule set. Conquerer's Haki and Nen crush are 2 examples that are similar to it.

Besides that point, it hasn't been shown to work on characters comparable to the fighter, like someone equally as powerful as Kenpachi ,then to have soul crush, defeat them. Reiatsu works as general energy more than actual soul manipulation imo

It wouldn't/shouldn't on DB characters though. Part of ki is spirit energy...and while we might an argument that it isn't exactly the same, the simple fact is that DBZ characters deal with much, much higher magnitudes anyway.

What is more accurate is saying that Reiatsu, Haki, and Chakra are the 3 different aspects of ki- Spirit, body, and mind...or rather stamina, mind and will...or something. My japanese is getting worst over time I think.

You are reaching for the "PIS" excuse instead of arguing with what was given. From what i saw while watching bleach, the soul pressure is something they willingly release. Just like the fact that they all keep their Zanpaktos small even tho they could be wielding skyscraper-swords.

@chimeroid: Soul pressure is constantly released, you can say that they can focus it on specific target, like when aizen Forced Grimmjow to kneel, but is a passive energy that is always There, Just look at starrk, killing hollows Just by being near, his biggest fear was being alone because of this, he didn't want to Kill them but he couldn't control his soul pressure.

@chimeroid: Not at all, you need to be incredibly powerful to Kill a creature Just by being near, starrk was the primera espada, a random shinigami could never do the same. When the soul society sends seated shinigami in the human world they give them a seal to limit their power, with that they are 5 times weaker and they do that to avoid collateral damage.
