Hi,

thanks for the feedback.

Bulk download is not technically possible via browsers, they can download only one file. And that's why mollify has zip download feature, which allows users to download entire folders or dropbox contents in zipped package. Of course, there are limitations because packages are zipped when requested, so large packages may cause timeout.

And for bulk upload, Plupload uploader allows multi file uploads. For admins I think FTP or SSH could be more useful when uploading larger file sets.

Hi,

First of all, thank you for your great work! I'm looking forward to see V2. Any idea when the release will be available?

I wonder if it will be possible to have a bulk download possibility for users? And also bulk upload for admin?
I thought it will be thru the dropbox but not. It will be perfect to have a possibility to download the dropbox content!

Thanks!
Pierre

Dear Samuli,
Thanks a lot for your answer.

I have enabled the zip download feature and it's perfect! Regarding Plupload, I tried it but I get an "-900 IO error" when I upload many files. I saw in this group that it was maybe a trash collector issue but I was not able to fix it. I don't own the server and I didn't find where to set the "INI" file.

Maybe you can help with that?`

Also I tried to add file by FTP (Fileziolla) on my folder tree and It seems I have permissions issue. I can't upload any files...

Last question, I also tried to have a published foler on a separate server but it seems this is not possible?

Thanks for your answer and sorry for my low knowledge.

Best Regards,

For the IO error. please get the PHP error log.

For the last question, how exactly are you trying to "have a published folder on a separate folder"? Folders need to be accessible by PHP, so they must be either local folders, or mapped network locations that seem like local folders.
