Anyone have suggestions on how to stop the Moleskine bookmark from
unraveling? I use mine in the new Planner all the time - it marks the
current date. Because I frequently enter notes for upcoming projects in
front, the bookmark is starting to take a beating.

I was thinking a dab of Super Glue would keep the threads together and
provide a little texture to grab onto - but thought I'd see what others
have tried.

Thanks - Joel

Elmer's is a good bet. KJ

Well, the bookmark of my planner is unraveling too. So, inspired by
the recent post, I attempted to burn it, using a lighter and sitting
at my desk. (Don't try this at home, kids!) While you are burning it,
beware, it goes up REALLY fast. Nice effect once it's done though!

Hmmm. Not sure about that. I could literally see my future going up in
flames! I think I'll first try the previous suggestion of Elmers ;-)

What? A solution not requiring glue or open flame?

LOL ... perfect.

hey there! I stand it defense of my open flame solution, while nursing
my burn wounds.

I tried tying a knot in it but it comes undone. Burning doesn't work
as there is hardly any plastic in it. The most successful thing that I
found was the sort of glue that kids use to assemble model aircraft -
do they still do that!? In the UK it is called polystyrene cement.

One thing that's working wonderfully for me is to light a small candle and then dip the end of the Moleskine bookmark into the candle wax and then let it dry. This gives a very good and strong protection.

I just used a spot of superglue and cut it to square it off, like ick
said. I can say it works great and is pretty much indestructable. It
has a really cool plastic effect once it's done.

What I do is just put the end of the bookmark between the cover and the
first page each time I use the notebook, that seems to work fine.

Try using clear nail polish. a small bottle at a drug store is, like,
50 cents, if that. Use the quick drying kind.
