Google chrome is not working but internet explorer did. Finally downloaded the file.

I was about to ask how to download datasets using winSCP. Any tips?

FTP has been removed from most modern browsers. I personally use CyberDuck to download public FTP files on Windows.

Additionally, for this specific dataset, we've added a browser on MassIVE to view all files and provide convenient downloads for single files if that is helpful:


Additionally, if you just want to look at data, you can using the GNPS Dashboard, e.g.:

I have downloaded a dataset with FileZilla today. It works fine for me.

when I login with winSCP, I only get access to the data I uploaded and not to the MASSive. How can I get there?

Hello, 

I am having trouble downloading various "older" MASSIVE datasets. 
When I connect to massive.ucsd.edu server via FTP, I see two folders "v01" and "v02". 
I cannot open folder "v01", which I think contains the MASSIVE datasets I am looking for, due to server issues or issues with my connection.
However, I can open folder "v02", which contains "newer" MASSIVE datasets starting from MSV000092832. 

Could someone help me download the older MASSIVE datasets?

Solved. 
I did not get the problem using FileZilla 7.66. 
I was getting the problem using Cyberduck 7.6.

Please check if your system has been compromised.
 
Based on documentation here: https://ccms-ucsd.github.io/GNPSDocumentation/quickstart/ FileZilla is no longer used as it contains malware. 

WinSCP works. Used Cyberduck without issues. Unrelated but just thought to let you know.
